Ian Cathrea has been a resident of Drayton Valley his entire life. He started his working career with the family plumbing business “Jack’s Plumbing”, a respected staple in the area for over 30 years. Ian attained his Journeyman Plumber & Gasfitter Ticket and worked in the industry for 12 years.

This construction industry experience provided Ian an opportunity to work along side many developers, various tradesman, and merchants in Drayton Valley. During this time, a mutual respect has been established among all parties.

With many years of experience and knowledge in construction, Ian became his own Construction Project Manager on a number of personal residential developments. These developments fostered a strong interest in pursuing a new and exciting career as a Home Builder in the Drayton Valley area.

In 2006, Ian and his wife Amanda formed Karleb Homes Ltd., and together they build homes full time. Karleb Homes is currently constructing homes in Aspenview’s newest phase.

Ian can always be found on site, taking a “hands on” approach to ensure that each home is being constructed to his high expectations.

Amanda manages the accounts and assists in coordinating interior design features of each home.

Karleb Homes has teamed up with local realtors Century 21, to assist with marketing and sales.
